Referral Code & Signup Policy
1. Welcome Bonus (Signup Credit)
Upon registering with Roman Auction, new users may receive a signup credit equivalent to five (5) bid credits.
Each bid credit has a promotional value of AUD $20, providing a total promotional value of AUD $100.
Signup credits:
They are promotional only and have no cash value
Are not withdrawable or transferable
Cannot be exchanged for cash or refunds
Signup credits are applied to each invoice, not to each item.
? Only one bid credit (AUD $20) may be applied to each successful invoice, regardless of:
The number of bid credits used, or
The number of auction items included in that invoice.
When multiple auction items are invoiced together, any remaining bid credits are not applied to that invoice and are forfeited once it is finalised.
2. Referral Program
Registered users may invite others to join Roman Auction using their unique referral code.
When a referred user successfully registers using a valid referral code:
The referrer may receive five (5) bid credits, and
The referred user may receive five (5) bid credits,
each with a total promotional value of AUD $100, subject to this policy.
Referral credits are subject to the same usage conditions and invoice limitations as signup credits.
3. Eligibility & Usage Conditions
Each user may be eligible to receive:
Five (5) bid credits upon registration, and
Five (5) bid credits for each successful referral, subject to verification.
Bid credits:
Must be used on separate auction items
Cannot be combined on a single item
Apply per invoice only, not per bid or per item
Are applied only once per invoice
Roman Auction does not guarantee that auction items will be invoiced separately.
Invoice grouping is determined by auction structure, timing, and operational processes.
There is no limit to the number of referrals a user may make, provided all referrals are genuine and comply with this policy.
4. Misuse & Enforcement
Any misuse of the signup or referral program — including but not limited to:
Creating multiple accounts
Self-referrals
Collusive bidding
Fraudulent or misleading activity
may result in:
Immediate forfeiture of promotional credits
Account suspension or termination
Disqualification from future promotions
Roman Auction’s determination regarding misuse is final.
5. General Terms
Promotional credits are offered at Roman Auction's sole discretion and may be issued as part of limited-time campaigns, including promotional codes (e.g., JAN26).
Roman Auction reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this policy or any promotional offer in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of this policy.
